    1. Emergency phone – only in extremely urgent cases (deceases, detentions etc.), after office hours of the embassy

Konsulin päivystysnumero: 0 503 818 653. Tärkeää! Lue tämä ennen kuin soitat päivystysnumeroon!

    1. Päivystysnumero on konsulin matkapuhelinnumero. Se ei ole hätäkeskuksen hätänumero, eikä call-centre-numero. Suomessa  hätänumero on 112.
    3. Konsuli ei puhu suomea. Hän puhuu englantia.
    4. Päivystysnumeroon soitetaan erittäin kiireellisissä asioissa, jotka koskevat tarvetta saada mahdollisimman nopeasti konsulin apua Puolan kansalaisille.
    5. Puolalaisten nimien oikeinkirjoitus on haastavaa ja puolalaisia nimiä on vaikea sanoa kirjaiminkin puhelimitse. Jos haluat ilmoittaa tietyn Puolan kansalaisen kuolemasta, sairaalahoidosta tai pidättämisestä jne. käytä osoitetta: helsinki.konsul@msz.gov.pl tai erittäin kiireellisissä asioissa lähetä tekstiviesti annettuun puhelinnumeroon. Konsuli soittaa takaisin, jos tarvitsee lisätietoja.

After office hours there is available an emergency phone to be used only in cases when an immediate intervention of the consul is required (as a decease or detention of a Polish citizen) in order to provide a Polish citizen with the consular assistance: 0 503 818 653. The emergency call in Finland is 112.

    1. Duties of the Polish consul

The Polish consul is entitled to perform different acts according to the binding norm of the Polish, Finnish and international law. • accept applications for granting, confirming, restoring or renouncing the Polish citizenship,
